Busy day here in Chi-town. Most of the girls were groaning about the museum before we got there; however, the city has one surprise after another for them. They really liked the museum and had a blast looking at the fairy tale castle, baby chicks, the science of storms, and the old timer area where we got a group picture. Everyone searched the Tribune Tower for their social rock, and now we are getting an architecture tour of Chicago on a boat down the Chicago river.
We have been busy, and the day isn't over yet! So far we have hit the Sears Tower, an IMAX 3-D movie on the Arctic, and we are playing at Navy Pier right now. Later on we will be going to see the Blue Man Group. I'm fairly certain that I will be sleeping well tonight. :)
We made it safe and sound to our hotel. The boys have been watching movies and hanging out. The girls are giggling and giving each other makeovers. Looking forward to a BUSY day tomorrow.
It tastes extra good especially when you get the happy meal prize.
All the sweet children have settled in and are enjoying the ride with candy, iPods, and snacks. I know thy are serious about their snacking when I see bags of chili cheese fritos being passed around at 6am. :) good thing the rest area is only 40 miles away we will be stopping for lunch around 1145.
I don't know about y'all, but I'm still up packing for our marvelous trip. It's been rather chaotic over here since most of our evening was spent at LBCH tending to my son's broken arm.
But as Shakespeare writes, "All's well that ends well." if I look a little frazzed tomorrow morning, have mercy on me. :)
